Pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended, ETI Plast S.r.l. informs users of www.etiplast.it about how their personal data is processed.

2. Data we process

Browsing data. The systems running this website collect, during normal operation, some data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet protocols (e.g. IP address, browser type, date and time of the request, pages visited). This data is used to ensure the website works correctly and securely.

Data you provide. When you fill in the forms on this website (information request, quote request, job application) or email us, we process the data you enter: name, company, contact details (email, phone), the content of your message and any attached files (e.g. technical drawings or CVs).

Cookies and third-party tools. This website uses technical cookies and, only with your consent, statistics and marketing cookies. Details are provided in the Cookie Policy, where you can change your choices at any time.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Answering information and quote requests and managing any resulting business relationship – legal basis: pre-contractual and contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Assessing job applications – legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at the data subject’s request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and Art. 111-bis of Legislative Decree 196/2003). Please do not include special categories of data (e.g. health, religious beliefs) in your CV unless strictly necessary.
• Website security and spam protection of forms (e.g. Google reCAPTCHA) – legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Usage statistics and advertising measurement (e.g. Google Analytics and Google Ads) – legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given through the cookie banner and revocable at any time.
• Compliance with legal obligations (e.g. accounting and tax) – legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

4. Provision of data

Providing data in the forms is optional, but without the fields marked as mandatory we cannot answer your request. Consent to statistics and marketing cookies is optional and refusing it does not prevent you from browsing the website.

5. How data is processed

Data is processed with IT tools and, where necessary, on paper, by authorised staff and with appropriate security measures to prevent loss, misuse or unauthorised access. We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects.

6. Recipients

Data may be disclosed, only for the purposes above, to: hosting, website maintenance and email service providers; consultants and professionals (e.g. accountants, lawyers); Google Ireland Limited for reCAPTCHA, Google Maps and, with consent, Google Analytics and Google Ads; public authorities where required by law. These parties act as data processors or independent controllers. Data is not disseminated.

7. Transfers outside the EU

Some Google services may involve transfers of data to the United States. Such transfers are based on the European Commission adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, to which Google LLC adheres, and/or on Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Retention

• Information and quote requests not followed by a business relationship: up to 24 months from the last contact.
• Data relating to contracts: 10 years, as required by civil and tax law.
• Job applications: up to 24 months from receipt, unless you ask for earlier deletion.
• Browsing data and cookies: for the period stated in the Cookie Policy.

9. Your rights

You may exercise at any time the rights under Articles 15-22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdrawal of consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. To exercise them, write to info@etiplast.it.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).

The controller may update this notice. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last update.
